Solitude. What exactly does that mean? Google the word. Solitude is a state of seclusion, where one may rest without being disturbed by others. Solitude is the nights or days you spend alone without contact with others. This can feel quite lonely. But, it simply doesn’t have to be like this. Turn it around. You now have time to spend with you…yourself. What is on your wish list? Make time to do something for yourself. Give yourself permission to engage in what your heart desires.
I have been very busy lately focusing my time not only on my job, but reading inspirational books, practicing yoga and developing my blog. Today I just want to lay in bed and read a book I started months ago. And, I look forward to reviewing some magazines I have not made time to read. Today is devoted to solitude. Sunday, the day we permit ourselves to rest, relax and rejuvenate.
Sunday. Treat yourself to whatever it takes to revive your spirit. Sunday is a gift, a moment of time, but truly intended to heal and prepare you for the upcoming week. Please enjoy this day and its blessing of solitude.
